Carlos Bustamante (baseball)

Carlos Bustamante is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2009. Bustamante was born on March 25, 1984, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Bustamante signed with the Phillies as an international free agent in 2002. He progressed through their minor league system, showcasing a fastball and slider. His time in the minors included stints with teams such as the Gulf Coast Phillies, Lakewood BlueClaws, and Reading Phillies.
