Cariño (band)

Cariño is a Spanish indie pop band formed in Madrid in 2016. The band consists of María Talaverano (vocals, guitar), Paola Rivero (vocals, keyboard), and Alicia Ros (vocals, bass). They are known for their catchy melodies, relatable lyrics often dealing with themes of love, heartbreak, and modern life, and a lo-fi, DIY aesthetic.

Cariño's music is generally considered within the twee pop or indie pop genres, drawing influences from artists such as Camera Obscura, La Buena Vida, and international indie pop acts. Their songs are typically short, energetic, and sung in Spanish.
