CA 27-29

It's crucial to understand that CA 27-29 levels can also be elevated in individuals with other conditions, including some non-cancerous (benign) conditions of the breast, ovary, uterus, liver, and kidney. Additionally, some individuals without any known medical conditions may have slightly elevated levels. Therefore, CA 27-29 should always be interpreted in conjunction with other clinical findings and tests. The CA 27-29 test is typically not recommended for screening for breast cancer in the general population.

The normal range for CA 27-29 varies slightly between laboratories, but generally, levels below 38-40 U/mL are considered normal.
