Brian Wilson (footballer, born 1983)

Brian Wilson (born January 18, 1983) is a Scottish former professional footballer. Wilson played as a defender, primarily as a right-back.

Wilson began his career with Dundee United, progressing through their youth system before making his professional debut in 2001. He spent several years with the club, becoming a regular in the first team and featuring in Scottish Premier League matches.

In 2008, Wilson moved to Queen of the South. He played for the Dumfries club for a number of seasons, becoming a key member of their squad. During his time there, he participated in the Scottish First Division (now Scottish Championship) and the Scottish Cup.

Wilson's later career included spells with other Scottish clubs. He joined Dunfermline Athletic in 2013, playing for the Pars as they transitioned through League One and the Championship. He subsequently signed for East Fife in 2016, and then later played for Arbroath, before retiring.
