Galway Borough (UK Parliament constituency)
Galway Borough was a UK parliamentary constituency in Ireland, returning one Member of Parliament (MP) from 1801 to 1885.
Following the Act of Union 1800, which merged the Parliament of Great Britain and the Parliament of Ireland, Galway Borough became a constituency of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Prior to the Union, it was a constituency of the Parliament of Ireland.
The constituency comprised the town of Galway in County Galway.
Representation was abolished under the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885. The area was then incorporated into the larger Galway constituency.
