Bonobo (musician)

Bonobo, born Simon Green on 30 March 1976, is a British musician, producer, and DJ. He is known for his distinct blend of downtempo, electronic, jazz, and world music influences.

Green began his career in Brighton, England, playing in local bands and experimenting with electronic music production. He adopted the stage name Bonobo, drawn from the name of the primate, and released his debut album, Animal Magic, in 2000.
