Besserud (station)

Besserud is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. It is located in the neighborhood of Besserud in the borough of Vestre Aker, Oslo.

The station opened on May 16, 1916, as part of the initial opening of the Holmenkollbanen line. It primarily serves residential areas and is a typical stop along the line, featuring side platforms serving both directions. The station is located above ground.

Besserud station is served by Line 1, which operates from Frognerseteren to Bergkrystallen. Travel time to the city center (e.g., Nationaltheatret) is approximately 20 minutes.
