Ben Green (cricketer)

Ben Green (born 15 November 1997) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset County Cricket Club. He is primarily a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Green was born in Exeter, Devon, and educated at Exeter School. He made his first-class debut for Somerset against the Sri Lanka Board President's XI in March 2019. He had previously represented England at the Under-19 level.

Green is known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to bowl accurate spells. He was named Somerset's Young Player of the Year in 2018. In 2023, he captained Somerset to victory in the Royal London One-Day Cup. He took a hat-trick in the final against Hampshire, contributing significantly to the team's success.
