Barouéli

Barouéli is a commune in the Cercle of San in the Ségou Region of southern-central Mali. The commune covers an area of approximately 453 square kilometers and includes eight villages. As of 2009, the commune had a population of 13,895. The primary language spoken in the area is Bambara. The economy of Barouéli is largely based on agriculture.
