Ba West (Fijian Communal Constituency, Fiji)
Ba West was a former electoral division of Fiji, one of 23 communal constituencies reserved for indigenous Fijians. Established by the 1997 Constitution, it was used for the parliamentary elections of 1999, 2001, and 2006. This constituency encompassed the western parts of the Ba Province on the island of Viti Levu. The electorate was abolished in 2013, pursuant to the new constitution, which eliminated communal constituencies and established a single nationwide constituency conducted under proportional representation. Notable representatives included members of prominent Fijian political parties who represented the interests of the indigenous Fijian community in the Ba West region.
