Jim Dietz (rower)
Jim Dietz (born January 12, 1949, in New York City) is an American former rower. He competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich in the coxless four event, where the American team finished 6th. Dietz also competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal in the double sculls event alongside Lawrence Klecatsky; they finished 8th.
Dietz began rowing at the New York Athletic Club. He was a member of the United States National Rowing Team throughout much of the 1970s. After his competitive rowing career ended, he became a rowing coach.
