State Highway 67 (New Zealand)

State Highway 67 (SH 67) is a New Zealand state highway located in the northern South Island. It runs from the intersection with State Highway 6 in Inangahua Junction to the town of Westport.

The highway primarily serves as a link between Westport and the state highway network further inland. It traverses primarily rural and agricultural landscapes, following the valleys of the Inangahua and Buller Rivers for a portion of its length. Towns along the route include, aside from its termini, smaller settlements such as Lyell.

SH 67 is a two-lane road for its entire length. While not considered a major tourist route compared to other South Island highways, it provides essential access for local communities and industries, particularly those related to agriculture and resource extraction. Maintenance and upgrading are carried out periodically to ensure its functionality as a crucial regional transport artery.
