Peter Jenkins (journalist)

Peter Jenkins (1934 – 1992) was a prominent British journalist and political commentator, best known for his work at The Guardian and The Independent.

Jenkins began his career in journalism in the 1950s. He joined The Guardian in 1960, initially covering labor and industrial relations. He rose through the ranks to become the newspaper's political editor in 1973, a position he held for several years.
