V liga

The V liga (often stylized as V. liga) is the fifth tier of the Polish football league system. It sits directly below the IV liga and above the Klasa okręgowa. The V liga is administered by the regional football associations (Polish: Związek Piłki Nożnej, ZPN) and is therefore divided into multiple groups (groups). The number of groups and their geographical division varies depending on the region and the number of participating teams. Generally, the winners of each group are promoted to the IV liga, while the bottom teams are relegated to the Klasa okręgowa. The exact number of teams promoted and relegated depends on the regulations set by the individual regional football associations. The V liga is primarily composed of amateur and semi-professional teams.
