Aultmore

Aultmore is a Speyside Scotch whisky distillery located near Keith, Banffshire, Scotland. It was founded in 1897 by Alexander Edward and is currently owned by Bacardi. The distillery draws its water from the Auchinderran burn, known for its purity, which contributes to the whisky's flavour profile.

Aultmore is known for producing a light, fruity, and subtly spicy single malt whisky. It is often described as having notes of grass, honey, and a hint of smoke. While it has been available as a single malt for many years, it was relatively unknown until Diageo included it in their Flora & Fauna range in the 1990s. Bacardi later acquired the distillery and has since increased the marketing and distribution of Aultmore single malt.

The distillery's production capacity is significant, though specific figures fluctuate. Aultmore's whiskies are often used in blends, but the distillery's own bottlings are gaining increasing recognition among whisky enthusiasts for their quality and character.
