William Abell (cricketer)

William Abell (born 1831, date of death unknown) was an English first-class cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm roundarm bowler, though his bowling style was considered relatively slow. He made his first-class debut in 1852 and played intermittently until 1862. Details of his personal life and career outside of cricket are scarce. His known first-class career consisted of a limited number of matches where he contributed modestly with both bat and ball.
