Bø Municipality (Nordland)

Bø is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Vesterålen archipelago. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Straume.

Geography:

Bø is situated on the southwestern part of Langøya island and on the smaller islands to the southwest. The landscape is characterized by coastal heathlands, mountains, and numerous islets and skerries. The municipality boasts a dramatic coastline and diverse natural environment.

History:
