Ayyub Guliyev (conductor)

Ayyub Guliyev (born 1984) is an Azerbaijani conductor. He is the Principal Conductor of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

Guliyev received his musical education at the Baku Music Academy and later continued his studies at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned conductors.

Guliyev has conducted orchestras both in Azerbaijan and internationally, including performances in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His repertoire includes a wide range of symphonic and operatic works. He is known for his interpretations of Azerbaijani composers, as well as classical and contemporary pieces.

Guliyev has received various awards and honors for his contributions to music, recognizing his talent and influence in the cultural landscape of Azerbaijan. He is a recipient of the title "Honored Artist of Azerbaijan". He actively promotes Azerbaijani music and culture on the international stage.
