AsiaSat 9

AsiaSat 9 is a geostationary communications satellite owned and operated by Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat). It was launched in September 2017 and positioned at 120° East longitude. This location provides extensive coverage spanning from East Asia to Australasia and the Pacific region.

The satellite provides a range of services, including:

• Broadcasting: Supports direct-to-home (DTH) television, cable TV distribution, and satellite news gathering (SNG).
• Telecommunications: Facilitates voice and data communications, including VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) services for remote areas.
