Anton Fig

Anton Fig (born December 8, 1952) is a South African session drummer, best known for his work on the CBS/Fox late-night talk show Late Night with David Letterman and the Late Show with David Letterman, where he was a member of the house band, known as The World's Most Dangerous Band (later renamed the CBS Orchestra).

Fig began his career in the band Spider, before becoming a highly sought-after session musician. He has played on numerous albums by a diverse range of artists, including Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, and Kiss. His drumming style is characterized by its power, precision, and versatility, allowing him to adapt to various genres and musical styles.

Beyond his work with David Letterman, Fig has released his own solo album, Anton Fig, and has continued to work as a session drummer and touring musician. He is widely respected within the drumming community and is considered one of the most influential session drummers of his generation.
