Annie Mac
Annie MacManus (born 18 July 1978), known professionally as Annie Mac, is an Irish DJ, broadcaster, and author. She is best known for her long-running tenure at BBC Radio 1, where she presented a variety of influential shows championing electronic music.
Mac began her career at BBC Radio 1 as a production assistant and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually landing her own specialist music show in 2004. Over the years, her shows evolved to include the highly popular "Annie Mac Presents" slot, showcasing her eclectic taste in dance music, ranging from house and techno to drum and bass and grime.
