Backstreet Dreams (film)
Backstreet Dreams is a 2002 American crime drama film directed by Peter Antonijevic and starring Brooke Shields, Joe Penny, and Burt Young. The film follows the story of a woman, Mary, who becomes entangled with a group of criminals in order to protect her son. She is drawn into their world when her son gets involved in a petty crime and owes them money. To repay the debt, Mary agrees to work for them, leading her down a dangerous path. The film explores themes of desperation, family loyalty, and the consequences of choices made under duress. While it received limited theatrical release, it has gained a following through television airings and home video release.
