Sanzeno

Sanzeno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 kilometers west of Venice and about 35 kilometers northwest of Verona. Sanzeno borders the following municipalities: Cerea, Casaleone, Ostiglia, and Sanguinetto. The economy is primarily agricultural, with a focus on the cultivation of cereals and fruit. The area is also known for its relatively flat terrain typical of the lower Veronese plain. Historically, the region was subject to various dominations including the Scaligeri and the Republic of Venice.
