Ania (singer)
Ania Wyszkoni, known professionally as Ania, is a Polish pop singer, composer, and songwriter. She was born in Tworków, Poland on January 21, 1978. Ania is best known as the former lead vocalist of the Polish rock band Łzy (Tears), which she joined in 1996 and left in 2010 to pursue a solo career.
With Łzy, Ania achieved significant mainstream success in Poland, releasing several platinum and gold-certified albums. Their breakthrough album, W związku z samotnością (In Connection with Loneliness), was particularly successful.
After departing from Łzy, Ania embarked on a successful solo career. Her solo albums include Pan i Pani (Mr. and Mrs.) (2009), Życie jest w muzyce (Life is in Music) (2012), Eternal (2015), and Nasz Czas (Our Time) (2017). Her solo work showcases her versatility and explores diverse musical styles, including pop, rock, and acoustic.
Ania has received several awards and nominations throughout her career, recognizing her contributions to the Polish music scene. She is considered one of Poland's most recognizable and popular female vocalists.
