Andy Tod
Andy Tod (born March 30, 1971, Dundee, Scotland) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He primarily played as a defender or midfielder.
Tod began his professional career with Dundee United in 1989, making over 100 appearances for the club. He then moved to St Johnstone in 1996. After a spell there, he joined Dunfermline Athletic, where he became a key player, known for his versatility and strong tackling. He captained the Pars and played a significant role in their Scottish Cup runs and European campaigns.
Following his time at Dunfermline, Tod had stints with several other Scottish clubs, including Brechin City, Livingston, and Stenhousemuir. After his playing career, he remained involved in football, including roles in coaching and management at the lower league level. Tod is remembered as a committed and reliable player throughout his career in Scottish football.
