Rick Fraser (ice hockey)

Rick Fraser (born July 23, 1960) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played primarily in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the International Hockey League (IHL) during his career.

Fraser, a defenceman, was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, selected in the 9th round, 182nd overall. He did not play in the National Hockey League (NHL).

He spent several seasons playing in the AHL for teams such as the Indianapolis Checkers, Springfield Indians, and Binghamton Whalers. He also played in the IHL for the Fort Wayne Komets, Saginaw Generals, and Kalamazoo Wings.
