Anderson (footballer, born 1988)

Anderson Luís de Abreu Oliveira (born 13 April 1988), commonly known as Anderson, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Anderson began his career at Grêmio in Brazil before joining Porto in Portugal in 2006. In 2007, he signed for Manchester United, where he won four Premier League titles, one Champions League title, and one FIFA Club World Cup. He also earned eight caps for the Brazil national team.

Anderson's time at Manchester United was often marked by inconsistency and injury issues. Despite possessing undeniable talent and potential, he struggled to maintain a consistent level of performance. He spent time on loan at Fiorentina in Italy before eventually returning to Brazil to play for Internacional. He also played for Coritiba and Adana Demirspor before retiring from professional football in 2019.
