Frank Jackson (basketball)

Frank Jackson (born May 4, 1998) is an American professional basketball player. He most recently played for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League.

Jackson played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. As a freshman in the 2016-17 season, he averaged 10.9 points per game and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.

He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 31st overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft but was immediately traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. He played three seasons with the Pelicans.

Subsequently, he played for the Detroit Pistons. His time with the Pistons was marked by stretches of strong offensive play.

Jackson has represented the United States in international competition, winning a gold medal at the 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. He is known for his athleticism and scoring ability.
