Mark Gillespie (New Zealand cricketer)

Mark Andrew Gillespie (born 1 February 1979 in Upper Hutt, New Zealand) is a former New Zealand international cricketer who played as a right-arm fast-medium bowler.

Gillespie made his Test debut for New Zealand against South Africa in 2005. He was known for his ability to swing the ball and for his aggressive bowling style. He was a regular member of the New Zealand Test and One Day International (ODI) teams for several years.

Gillespie also played domestic cricket for Wellington and later Otago. He retired from international cricket in 2013. After retiring, he pursued a career in coaching, including roles with Otago and Central Districts.
