Anders Jacobsen (ski jumper)

Anders Jacobsen (born February 17, 1985, in Hønefoss, Norway) is a Norwegian former ski jumper. He achieved significant success on the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup circuit, representing Norway in numerous competitions.

Jacobsen's career highlights include winning the prestigious Four Hills Tournament in the 2006/2007 season. He also secured a silver medal in the team event at the 2007 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo. Further, he won a silver medal in the team event at the 2015 World Championships in Falun.

He was known for his powerful jump style and consistent performances. Throughout his career, he faced challenges including injuries and periods of inconsistent form. Despite these setbacks, he remained a popular figure in the sport of ski jumping.

Jacobsen announced his retirement from ski jumping in 2015. Since retiring, he has pursued other interests, including becoming a pilot.
