Christopher Hatton (died 1619)

Sir Christopher Hatton (died 1619) was an English politician and a nephew of the more famous Sir Christopher Hatton, Lord Chancellor of England under Elizabeth I. To distinguish him from his uncle, he is sometimes referred to as Christopher Hatton the Younger.

He served as a Member of Parliament for various constituencies during the late 16th and early 17th centuries. His parliamentary seats included Maldon (1586), Northamptonshire (1589), and Higham Ferrers (1604, 1614).

Hatton inherited part of his uncle's estate, including Holdenby House in Northamptonshire. He continued to maintain the grandeur and hospitality associated with the Hatton family.

He was known for his involvement in local administration and held various positions of authority within Northamptonshire. He was actively engaged in matters relating to the county's governance and participated in the administration of justice.

Christopher Hatton (died 1619) married Alice Fanshawe. The couple had issue.
