All Saints' College (Vicksburg)
All Saints' College was a private, Episcopal-affiliated boarding school for girls located in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Founded in 1908, it operated continuously until its closure in 2006. The school was established by the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi and offered a college-preparatory curriculum for students in grades eight through twelve.
Known for its historic campus and strong academic reputation, All Saints' College attracted students from across the United States and internationally. The school emphasized a well-rounded education, including academics, arts, and athletics. Its campus featured notable architectural buildings, reflecting different periods of its history.
Over the years, All Saints' College adapted to changing educational landscapes, adding programs and adjusting its curriculum to meet the needs of its students. However, despite its rich history and loyal alumnae base, the school faced increasing financial challenges in the early 2000s. These challenges ultimately led to the decision to close the school in 2006.
Following its closure, the All Saints' College campus was acquired by various entities, including the city of Vicksburg and private developers. Efforts have been made to preserve the historical buildings and repurpose the campus for new uses. The legacy of All Saints' College continues through its alumnae and the impact it had on the Vicksburg community.
