Alexander McRae (explorer)

Alexander McRae was a Scottish-Canadian explorer, fur trader, and businessman who played a significant role in the exploration and development of the Pacific Northwest during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is primarily remembered for his association with the North West Company and his explorations in what is now British Columbia, Canada, and parts of the northwestern United States.
