Albairate

Albairate is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan, in the Italian region Lombardy. It is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Milan.

Albairate borders the following municipalities: Cisliano, Corbetta, Gaggiano, Abbiategrasso, Vermezzo con Zelo, and Cassinetta di Lugagnano. Its territory is primarily agricultural, located within the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, a large agricultural park south of the city of Milan. The Naviglio Grande, an important navigable canal, also passes through Albairate.
