Alain Perrin
Alain Perrin (born October 7, 1956) is a French football manager and former player.
Perrin has managed numerous clubs throughout his career, primarily in France, but also internationally. Some of the notable clubs he has managed include:
- AS Nancy (his first head coach role)
- Troyes AC
- Olympique de Marseille
- FC Sochaux
- Olympique Lyonnais
- AS Saint-Étienne
- Al-Khor SC (Qatar)
- Umm Salal SC (Qatar)
- China national football team
Perrin achieved success with Lyon, winning the Ligue 1 title and Coupe de France in the 2007-2008 season. His managerial style is often characterized as pragmatic and focused on defensive organization. He has also been known to develop young players and integrate them into first-team squads.
