Adam Keefe (ice hockey)
Adam Keefe (born October 2, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1991 to 2005.
Playing Career
Keefe played junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was drafted 14th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He played several seasons with the Jets before the franchise relocated and became the Phoenix Coyotes. He also played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Los Angeles Kings. Known for his physical play and defensive abilities, Keefe was a reliable and respected player throughout his career. While not a prolific scorer, he was a valuable contributor on various teams. He retired from professional hockey in 2005.
