Acetone (album)
Acetone is the self-titled fourth and final studio album by the American alternative rock band Acetone. It was released in 2000 on Vapor Records. The album is generally considered to be a continuation of the band's signature slowcore, psychedelic-tinged sound, characterized by sparse arrangements, droning guitars, and melancholic vocals. While not a significant commercial success, it received generally positive reviews from critics who praised its atmospheric and introspective qualities. It is noted for being the last recorded output from the band before their dissolution following the death of bassist Richie Lee.
