1 Arietis
1 Arietis (also designated 1 Ari) is a star in the constellation Aries. It is a blue-white hued star with an apparent magnitude of approximately 5.83, making it faintly visible to the naked eye under good viewing conditions.
Located at an estimated distance of about 470 light-years from Earth, 1 Arietis is classified as a B9V star, indicating it is a main sequence star of spectral type B9. These stars are hotter and more massive than our Sun, burning through their fuel at a faster rate and having shorter lifespans.
Its luminosity is significantly higher than the Sun, and its surface temperature is estimated to be around 11,000 Kelvin. 1 Arietis is not known to have any confirmed planetary companions. As a relatively distant and faint star, detailed studies are somewhat limited.
