she (Swedish band)

She was a Swedish indie rock band formed in Stockholm in 2003. The band consisted of Maria Wihlborg (vocals, guitar), Elina Stenlund (bass, vocals), Lisa Montan (guitar, keyboard, vocals) and Johanna Thulin (drums).

She was known for their melodic, guitar-driven sound, often drawing comparisons to bands like The Cure and The Smiths. Their music frequently explored themes of love, loss, and alienation, characterized by Wihlborg's distinctive vocals and thoughtful lyrics.

The band released several EPs and two full-length albums: She (2006) and Days (2008). They toured extensively in Europe and gained a following in the indie music scene.

She disbanded in 2009. Since then, the members have pursued other musical projects.
