Paul Wood (footballer)

Paul Wood (born December 20, 1964) is a former English professional footballer who played primarily as a defender.

Wood began his career as a youth player at Liverpool before joining Chester City in 1983, where he made his professional debut. He played for Chester City for several seasons, becoming a regular in the first team. He was known for his versatility, capable of playing in multiple defensive positions.
