Zlil Sela

Zlil Sela (Hebrew: זליל סלע) is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and educator based in Israel. Her work encompasses performance, video, installation, and sound art, often exploring themes of identity, memory, and the relationship between the individual and the collective. Sela frequently engages with historical narratives and cultural symbols, reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens. Her artistic practice is often collaborative, involving diverse communities and challenging conventional artistic boundaries. She has exhibited widely in Israel and internationally, and her works are included in various private and public collections. Beyond her artistic practice, Sela is actively involved in arts education, leading workshops and mentoring emerging artists. She also curates exhibitions, creating platforms for other artists to showcase their work and engage in critical dialogue.
