Yanoda
Yanoda is a rainforest scenic area located in the Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in Hainan Province, China. The name "Yanoda" (呀诺达) is a homophone for "one, two, three" in the Hainanese dialect and is used as a greeting, signifying blessings and good luck. The rainforest covers an area of approximately 123 square kilometers and is characterized by its lush tropical vegetation, waterfalls, streams, and unique rock formations.
Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone aims to provide visitors with an immersive experience of the natural environment, while promoting ecological awareness and conservation. It features several distinct sections, including the Dreamworld Valley, Rainforest Valley, and Yaoshan Ancient Village, each offering different perspectives on the rainforest ecosystem and local culture. Activities available to visitors include rainforest trekking, ziplining, waterfall climbing, and cultural performances showcasing the traditions of the Li and Miao ethnic groups.
