Wolf Bros

Wolf Bros is a musical project primarily featuring Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, along with Don Was (bass), Jay Lane (drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards). Formed in 2018, the group explores the Grateful Dead's extensive catalog, offering arrangements that often differ significantly from the original versions. They are known for a looser, more improvisational approach, showcasing Weir's guitar work and reinterpretations of familiar songs. The ensemble frequently incorporates jazz and blues influences into their performances. Their music can be described as a blend of familiar Grateful Dead material with a more stripped-down, raw, and experimental sound.
