Willie Martin (Canadian football)

Willie Martin was a Canadian Football League (CFL) player who played defensive back. He is best known for his time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was drafted by the Blue Bombers in the 1980 CFL Draft and played for them from 1980 to 1985. Martin was part of the Blue Bombers team that won the Grey Cup in 1984. After his time with the Blue Bombers, Martin played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1986. He was known for his aggressive style of play and his contributions to the Blue Bombers' defense during their successful period in the early 1980s.
