Mona Dol
Mona Dol (born Mona Dolores Crismon, August 4, 1917 – November 27, 2014) was an American actress known primarily for her work in radio drama and television.
Dol began her career in radio in the 1940s, lending her voice to numerous programs, including suspense thrillers, soap operas, and comedies. She was a versatile performer, capable of portraying a wide range of characters, from innocent young women to hardened villains. Some of her notable radio credits include appearances on Suspense, The Shadow, Inner Sanctum Mysteries, and The Adventures of Sam Spade.
Transitioning to television in the 1950s, Dol continued to find success. She made guest appearances on various popular shows throughout the decade and beyond. While she never achieved leading lady status, Dol maintained a steady career as a character actress. Her television roles often saw her playing supporting characters, such as neighbors, secretaries, or family members.
Dol was married to Bill James. She retired from acting later in life.
