Famara

Famara is a coastal village and beach located on the northwest coast of the island of Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands, Spain. It is situated within the municipality of Teguise.

Famara is known for its long, sandy beach, Playa de Famara, which stretches for over six kilometers. This beach is a popular spot for surfing, kitesurfing, and windsurfing due to consistent winds and waves. The strong currents also make it suitable for experienced water sports enthusiasts.
