Alfa (Lebanon)

Alfa is one of the two mobile network operators in Lebanon. Officially known as Mobile Interim Company 1 S.A.L., it is managed by Orascom TMT, an international telecommunications company. Alfa offers a variety of mobile services including voice calls, SMS messaging, and mobile internet access (2G, 3G, and 4G LTE). It competes primarily with Touch (formerly MTC Touch), the other mobile operator in Lebanon. The Lebanese government owns both Alfa and Touch, but contracts the management to private companies. Alfa plays a significant role in Lebanon's telecommunications infrastructure and economy, providing connectivity for individuals and businesses across the country. It has a substantial subscriber base and continuously updates its services to remain competitive in the mobile market.
