Jimmy Hamilton (footballer, born 1906)
Jimmy Hamilton (born 1906, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a left back.
Hamilton began his career with Clydebank Juniors before joining Dumbarton in 1928. He spent a single season with Dumbarton, making 28 appearances. In 1929, he moved to England to sign for Reading, where he played for two seasons, featuring in 59 league matches. Following his time at Reading, Hamilton returned to Scotland and played for Ayr United from 1931-1932, playing 15 matches. His professional career concluded at Ayr United. Details of his playing career beyond 1932 are unknown.
