William Lindsay (baseball)

William Lindsay (born November 15, 1915, died January 17, 1997) was an American professional baseball player. Primarily a pitcher, he played for one season in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Bees in 1936.

Lindsay attended Compton Junior College. His professional career began in 1936. He appeared in four games for the Boston Bees (later known as the Braves), pitching 7.1 innings. He recorded an ERA of 17.18. He continued to play in the minor leagues for several years following his brief MLB stint.
