William Fytche (MP)

William Fytche (c. 1704 – 1774) was a British politician who served as a Member of Parliament for Maldon.

Born circa 1704, Fytche was the son of William Fytche, Esquire, of Danbury Place, Essex. He was educated at Eton College (1715-1721) and admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1722. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Eyre of Bury St Edmunds.

Fytche’s parliamentary career spanned from 1741 to 1761. He initially contested Colchester in 1741 but was unsuccessful. He subsequently represented Maldon from 1741 to 1761. While in Parliament, he was generally considered a supporter of the government.

He died in 1774.
